Terms And Conditions
Terms & Conditions for Virgin Mobile Trade In Scheme Provided by zonzoo Ltd.
- By entering into this Scheme you are confirming that you are the rightful owner of the mobile phone(s) you are trading in or recycling, or that you have the permission of the owner of such phone(s).
- The value displayed for each mobile phone is only valid for “Functioning” mobile phones which means that the mobile phone is the same make and model as set out on the online form submitted by you, includes a working battery, switches on and off, that the display is intact and working, and that the device is neither destroyed nor has suffered water damage. SIM cards should not be sent with your phone, if received they will be destroyed. Chargers and other mobile accessories are accepted but do not increase the value of the mobile phone(s) and may damage the return envelope.
- The Scheme is only open to existing customers of Virgin Mobile or new customers who elect to join Virgin Mobile as part of the Scheme application process whereupon you will be sent a SIM Pack for Virgin Mobiles Pay As You Go service which will contain a SIM card with £1 value of air time credit on it. This offer is only valid online and exclusively to this Scheme.
- After receipt of the phone, we will send you a confirmation of receipt. If we receive a phone that does not match the details on the online form submitted (i.e. it is a different make or model or is not a Functioning phone in any way or is in a different working condition) we will email you with a revised value or advise you that the phone does not fulfill the Scheme conditions. If you do not wish to accept the revised value or continue with the trade, you must request by email that the phone be returned within 48 hours of the email notifying you of the revised value. A £5.50 handling fee will be charged to return the phone using Special Delivery. If no request to return the phone is received within 48 hours, then the trade will continue with the revised value or the phone will be destroyed or otherwise disposed of at our option.
- When you complete the Scheme application details on the website you will have the option of either receiving an air time credit (the “Airtime Credit”) for your Virgin Mobile account up to the value identified for your Functioning phone(s). If your phone is not featured on the website you can still submit it for recycling. Where you elect to receive an Airtime Credit from Virgin Mobile this will appear on your account within 5 days of receipt of the phone(s) except if you have joined Virgin Mobile as part of the Scheme application process where the Airtime Credit will be credited to your account upon activation of your new SIM. Airtime Credits will only be awarded once it has been verified that the phone matches the details of the online form submitted.
- Air Time Credits are issued directly by Virgin Mobile upon our instructions, are non-transferable, no cash alternative is available and will not be refunded as cash should you choose to cancel your Virgin Mobile account.
- The owner of the phone(s) is responsible for canceling any mobile phone contracts linked to the phone that is being traded. Neither zonzoo nor Virgin Mobile are responsible for any call costs arising before or after the phone is sent in, or arising from any other circumstances whatsoever. Should there be any call costs, the client and the service provider must resolve these payment matters.
- The SIM card and any data cards should be removed from the phone otherwise they shall be destroyed. zonzoo will professionally dispose of all SIM and data cards sent in with the mobile phone(s). Neither zonzoo nor Virgin Mobile are responsible for the loss of any data on any SIM or data card or the disclosure of any information on them.
- All mobile phones received are checked against a database of stolen phones. In the event that such a phone is received, no Airtime Credit will be made and the phone will be handed to the Police authorities along with the senders contact details.
- We’ll even send you a Free certificate of postage which you can get stamped at the Post Office. In the unlikely event that the phone is lost in the postal system, it is then covered up to £32 which should be claimed directly from Royal Mail. If the value of the mobile phone(s) is more than £32, we advise that it is sent to us via Special Delivery from the Post Office – which will enable to you to track your phone until it arrives with us and insures against loss. Neither zonzoo nor Virgin Mobile will accept responsibility for phones that are not received.
